Visit Dawenkou National Archaeological Site Park

On July 14th, tourists visited the Dawenkou Site Museum to see a restored model of the living scenes of the ancestors.


The Dawenkou Site, located on both sides of the Dawen River in Tai'an City, Shandong Province, covers an area of 38.9 hectares and is the discovery and naming site of the Dawenkou culture. The Dawenkou National Archaeological Site Park includes the Dawenkou Site Museum, themed square, core area of the site, riverside landscape belt, display of production and living scenes on the north bank of the Wen River, settlement display, and other parts.  
   In recent years, exploration has been carried out in the surrounding area of 3.5 million square meters of the site, and one new site of 69000 square meters and another of 32000 square meters have been discovered, laying the foundation for further in-depth research on the Dawenkou culture.
