May 18 is the International Museum Day. The theme of this year's Museum Day is "museums, sustainability and a better life". It emphasizes that museums can create linkage effects, promote positive changes, and contribute in many ways to achieving sustainable development goals and helping a better life. The Tai'an Dawenkou Cultural Protection and Inheritance Center has organized a series of activities in response to the theme of Museum Day, vigorously promoting Dawenkou culture, and creating a positive atmosphere for inheriting traditional Chinese culture.

1、 5.18 Community activities on International Museum Day

　　In order to commemorate the International Museum Day, let more people know about Dawenkou culture, and better play the social function of the museum, the center carried out the 5.18 International Museum Day into the community activity in the village committee of Shanxi Street Village, Dawenkou Town, and screened Dawenkou cultural propaganda films for community party members and masses, enriching the spiritual life of party members and masses.

Under the patient and meticulous explanation of the instructor, the students learned about the value of the Dawenkou site and Dawenkou culture through four chapters: discovery, exploration, protection, and looking up at Dawenkou. Following the footsteps of history, everyone feels the vastness, profundity, and long history of Chinese civilization, which has greatly benefited students.

　　The staff of the Center hung the theme of International Museum Day and banners related to cultural relics protection in the Heritage Park, distributed International Museum Day and publicity materials on cultural relics protection laws and regulations to visitors to the museum, improved the public's awareness of cultural relics protection, created a good atmosphere for everyone to participate in cultural relics protection and share the results of protection, and formed a good situation for the whole people to participate in cultural relics protection and support the development of cultural relics cause.
