Painted pottery back pot


  In the Neolithic age, Dawenkou Culture. It is 17.5 cm high and 7.3 cm in diameter. It was unearthed at Dawenkou site in Tai'an, Shandong Province in 1959. Water container. Argillaceous red pottery. Extravagant mouth, long neck, slip shoulders, oval abdomen, flat bottom. The shoulder is decorated with wavy patterns, and the abdomen is decorated with reticulation. A pair of vertical noses are placed on one side of the abdomen, and a convex button is placed on the other side.
