Colorful pottery drum


  In the Neolithic age, Dawenkou Culture. The height is 41 cm and the caliber is 30 cm. It was unearthed at Dawenkou site in Tai'an in 1978. For musical instruments, there is a flat conical protrusion near the drum surface to tighten the drum surface. The drum body is painted with a series of petal patterns, as if our ancestors were downloading songs and dancing to the accompaniment of the drum sound. Collected by Shandong Academy of cultural relics and archaeology.
